In most human endeavors, there are those items that just don't quite fit in with the rest of the project. In most American homes, those items, from batteries to rubber bands to unused takeout menus, tend to get stuck in a drawer in the kitchen or bedroom and left to wait until they're needed, when someone will go and find it, usually after saying, "We really need to clean up that junk drawer this weekend." This is the junk drawer of Boyd's World -- things that are useful or wanted, but which really don't fit anywhere else. |
